ANSC 119GS. Gesture, Communication, and the Body (4 units)

Description
A critical examination of research connecting language to alternate complementary modalities—the hands, face, body, and aspects of “lived environments” (spaces, tools, artifacts). Students will not receive credit for both ANSC 119GS and ANSC 119. Prerequisites: upper-division standing. Students must submit applications to the Global Initiatives Study Abroad Office and be accepted into the Global Seminar Program. Program or materials fees may apply.
