Description
This practicum course provides firsthand experience with ethnography, a form of qualitative social research based on interviews, observations, and other methods. Each student will design, carry out, and report on a small-scale ethnographic research project of personal interest. This course emphasizes experiential learning, discussion, and writing, with some on-campus group observations and supplementary readings and videos. Prerequisites: upper-division standing.
