Description
New discoveries, methods, and theories concerning maritime archaeology in the eastern Mediterranean provide an important data source for studying the evolution of human culture from the emergence of anatomically modern humans to the development of ancient civilizations. This course focuses on reviewing the archaeological and environmental data from Greece, Cyprus, Israel, and the neighboring lands related to these issues. Prerequisites: graduate standing.
