Description
Introductory mammalian physiology for bioengineering students, with emphasis on control mechanisms and engineering principles. Basic cell functions; biological control systems; muscle; neural; endocrine, and circulatory systems. Not intended for premedical bioengineering students. Credit not allowed for both BIPN 100 and BENG 140A. Prerequisites: CHEM 6A-B, PHYS 2A-B-C, BILD 1, or BENG 102; majors only or consent of department. (W)
