Description
This course examines science communication as a unique form of storytelling, identifying who does science communication, how, why, and with what impacts. Through an exploration of the social construction of scientific knowledge, the course highlights science communication’s role in democracy, power, justice, public reason, technological trajectories, university-community relations, and health activism. Prerequisites: COMM 10.
