Description
This interdisciplinary course brings together students from engineering, design, and medicine, and exposes them to designing technology for health and health care. The course is focused on studying how technology is used in health care and identifies opportunities for novel technology to be developed for specific health and health-care settings. Students will be exposed to the health domain at large through site visits and discussions with experts in a variety of health-care domains. Site visits will be coordinated by the department. Prerequisites: department approval and instructor consent required.
