Description
The course delves deeply into the process of attending an academic position in both teaching and research institutions. The course not only discusses material that needs to be prepared for the job application, but also the process of evaluating the application. The course will also help to form a better understanding of a student’s preparation to become faculty and how life will evolve as you start as a young professor/educator/researcher. This course is intended for PhD students. Restricted to PhD students within the CS75, CS78, CS89, CS88, CS77, CS80, CS81, CS83, and CS76 majors.
