Description
This course provides an overview of non-governmental organizations (NGOs); how they are created, managed, grown, funded, and publicized. The course will give an overview of local community-specific and country-specific NGO activities as well as international NGOs that work at the country level, regionally, and internationally. The course will provide a broad understanding of how NGOs work in concert with governments and ministries of health to address the needs of populations throughout the world.
