Description
This course focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to the study of Japan ranging across disciplines and emphasizing modern Japan in both domestic and transnational contexts. The course is conducted as a seminar and combines analysis and discussion of readings with instruction and experience in conducting original research, writing academic research papers, and presentation of student work to the class.
