Description
This course focuses on British culture in the twentieth century with a focus on literature and music that redefined Britain as both a changing nation and a declining empire. It examines the works of post-war novelists such as Henry Green, Ivy Compton-Burnett, Virginia Woolf, and rock music groups like the Beatles. Prerequisites: department approval required. Students must apply and be accepted to the Global Seminars Program.
