MATH 121A. Foundations of Teaching and Learning Mathematics I (4 units)

Description
Develop teachers’ knowledge base (knowledge of mathematics content, pedagogy, and student learning) in the context of advanced mathematics. This course builds on the previous courses where these components of knowledge were addressed exclusively in the context of high-school mathematics. Prerequisites: EDS 30/MATH 95, MATH 31CH, or MATH 109. Students who have not completed listed prerequisites may enroll with consent of instructor.
