Describes the systems approach to managing the entire flow of information, materials, and services from raw materials suppliers through factories and warehouses to the end customer, which is the key to productivity and competitiveness of manufacturing and service enterprises. The course integrates issues from marketing (channels of distribution), logistics, and operations. No credit for MGT 453 if taken after MGT 453R. Prerequisites: MBA student or instructor approval or department approval.
