Description
Describes the systems approach to managing the entire flow of information, materials, and services from raw materials suppliers through factories and warehouses to the end customer, which is the key to productivity and competitiveness of manufacturing and service enterprises. The course integrates issues from marketing (channels of distribution), logistics, and operations. No credit for MGT 453R if taken after MGT 453. This course is a distance education course. Prerequisites: MBA student or instructor approval or department approval.
