Description

Computer synthesis techniques including wavetable and additive synthesis, waveshaping, and sampling. Transformation of musical sounds using filters, modulation, and delay effects. Fourier analysis of sounds. Prerequisites: MUS 171. Depending on the instructor, this course may include the following tools: Max/MSP, pd.
