Description
Survey of psychoacoustical phenomena, theories of hearing, and their relation to musical perception and cognition. Techniques of psychoacoustical experimentation. Prerequisites: MUS 170 recommended; restricted to music, ICAM-music, and ICAM-visual arts majors and minors, or consent of instructor. Depending on the instructor, this course may include the following tools: MATLAB.
