Description
A first course on stars, their structure, evolution, and as testing grounds for physics in extreme environments. Topics include fundamental interactions and nuclear physics in stars, fluid dynamics and transport equations, white dwarfs and neutron stars, supernovae, and the formation of heavy elements. Prerequisites: 4A-B-C-D-E.
