PH 406. Scientific Writing (4 units)

Description
This course will prepare students for scientific writing in a variety of contexts. These may include scientific abstracts and research summaries, plain language summaries, op-eds, community engagement, and using LLMs. The course will incorporate group projects as well as individual assignments. Prerequisites: must be enrolled in MPH program (PB75, PB87, PB88, PB89, PB90, and PB91) or program approval. Renumbered from FMPH 406. Students may not receive credit for both FMPH 406 and PH 406.
