PH 428. Dissemination and Implementation, Policy, and Health Services in Mental Health (4 units)

Description
This course will use a dissemination and implementation science methodology and lens to address the gap between promising research results for mental health and their successful translation into improved individual, community, and population health. Real-world case examples and a multidisciplinary approach will be used to discuss and address factors that impact the adoption, implementation, and sustained use of specific health-related interventions. Prerequisites: must be enrolled in MPH program (PB75, PB88, and PB89) or program approval. Renumbered from FMPH 428. Students may not receive credit for both FMPH 428 and PH 428.
