Description
This course provides MPH students the opportunity to participate in a short-term, field-based public health or population-based experience. Students will engage in a field experience in collaboration with a sponsoring organization and qualified site mentor. Students are expected to apply theory, skills, and training acquired through the public health course work within a real-life setting. Students will develop written and oral communication skills that employ public health concepts and methods. Prerequisites: must be enrolled in MPH program (PB75, PB87, PB88, PB89, PB90, and PB91). Renumbered from FMPH 496B. Students may not receive credit for both FMPH 496B and PH 496B.
