Description
This course examines the history of ancient Greek theatre and the importance of theatre in relation to myth, politics, and religion. Key plays by Aeschylus, Aristophanes, and Sophocles will be studied with a focus on fate, ritual, myth, and civic politics. Program or materials fees may apply. Prerequisites: Students must apply and be accepted to the Global Seminars Program.
