Description
Advanced topics in the design of weight-critical aerospace structures. Topics include static, dynamic, and environmental load definitions; metallics and polymeric composite material selection; semimonocoque analysis techniques; and bolted/bonded connections. Design procedures for sizing the structural components of aircraft and spacecraft will be reviewed.
