Description
(Cross-listed with ANTH 275.) This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of practicing archaeobotany. How do archaeobotanists identify ancient plant remains in sites and how can we use this information to understand human subsistence and forestry regimes, animal feeding patterns, and climate change? Program or materials fees may apply. Students may not receive credit for ANTH 275 and SIOG 275. Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor. (S/U grades permitted.)
