Description
Masterpieces of French farce and comedy from the seventeenth century to the twentieth century studied French theatrical and cultural contexts. Readings include plays by Moliere, Marivauz, Beaumarchais, and Feydeau. No prior knowledge in theatre history is needed. Prerequisites: upper-division standing or consent of instructor.
