Description
Evolution of directing theory from 1850 to the present with reference to the work of internationally influential directors such as Saxe-Meiningen, Antoine, Stanislavski, Meyerhold, Brecht, and Brook, among others. No prior knowledge in theatre history is needed. Prerequisites: upper-division standing or consent of instructor.
