Description
Introduction to the technique of jazz dance, while placing the art form in its historical context as an American vernacular form. Builds a beginning technical jazz vocabulary with a focus on rhythmic exercises, isolations, turns, and locomotor combinations. May be taken for credit six times. Prerequisites: none.
