Description

This course covers causal inference methods in econometrics. Students are introduced to commonly used causal inference methods in economics, business, and public policy for identifying and estimating causal effects. The main topics are causality and causal models, experiments and quasi-experiments, instrumental variable regression, panel data methods, difference-indifferences, and regression discontinuity designs. Prerequisites: ECON 120B or MATH 181B.
