Description
Some of the most enduring divisions and greatest inequalities in American social and political life center on race. This course explores these divisions and inequities. We will examine widely divergent conceptions of America’s “race problem” both to provide an informed assessment of what the problem is as well as to evaluate various solutions to poverty, immigration, discrimination, and uneven political representation.
