MATH 31AH. Honors Linear Algebra (4 units)

Description
First quarter of a very rigorous three-quarter honors integrated linear algebra/multivariable calculus sequence for extremely well-prepared students. Topics include real/complex number systems, vector spaces, linear transformations, bases and dimension, change of basis, eigenvalues, eigenvectors, diagonalization. (Credit not offered for both MATH 31AH and 18.) Prerequisites: AP Calculus BC score of 5. Students without an AP Math BC score of 5 may enroll with a prerequisite of MATH 20A-B with a grade of A or better in each. Students who have not completed listed prerequisites may enroll with consent of instructor.
