Description
Radiative, physical, and dynamical processes that govern the mean state, variability, and change of the atmosphere and climate, including greenhouse gases, clouds and aerosols, convection and precipitation, general circulation, and coupled atmosphere-ocean interactions. Prerequisites: graduate standing and SIOC 217A or SIO 217A and SIOC 217B or SIO 217B, or consent of instructor.
